“Turn toward what gives you life.”
Every green thing performs a quiet miracle: it turns light into life. And every plant, without being told, orients itself toward the sun. Leaves tilting, stems leaning, the whole organism following the source of its energy. Hemp does more than lean toward light, it listens to it. As the days grow shorter, the plant senses the season turning and knows it is time to stop growing tall and begin to flower. Sunlight asks a direct question: what are you orienting toward? We become what we look towards.
Are you spending your days turned toward worry, comparison or other people's expectations, or do you turn toward what genuinely energises you: the work, people and places that make you feel more alive when vitality returns almost on its own. This card often arrives when you have been running on depleted energy, drawing from willpower rather than light. It invites you to audit your sources. What lifts you? What drains you? You are allowed to follow your energy the way a plant follows the sun. Not selfishly, but because depletion shrinks what you have to give.
There is also a teaching about truth and exposure. Sunlight reveals; it does not flatter. Something in your life may be ready to be seen clearly, brought out of the shadows into honest light. Let it be illuminated. Then turn your face, deliberately, toward what makes you grow.
AffirmationI turn toward life-giving light, and my energy returns to me.
